Weapons
Broad Swords
Swords - an offensive weapon, having a long, straight or slightly curved, pointed blade
having one or two cutting edges and set into a hilt. It is the general
term, including the small sword, rapier, sabre, scimitar, and many other
varieties.
Daggers - a short stabbing weapon with a pointed blade

Halberd - weapon of the 15th and 16th centuries having an axe-like blade and a steel
spike mounted on the end, which the head had a point, and several
long, sharp edges, curved or straight, and sometimes additional points
of a long shaft.
Crossbows- weapon consisting of a bow fixed crosswise on a wooden stock, with grooves
on the stock to direct the projectile.
Longbows - long, hand drawn bow, such as that used in medieval England, which sometimes
exceeded 6 feet (1.8 meters) in length.

Chariot - a two wheeled horse drawn battle vehicle; used in war and races in ancient
Egypt and Greece and Rome, and by the Celts

Shield - broad
piece of armor made of rigid material and strapped to the arm or carried
in the hand for protection against hurled or thrusted weapons

Catapult - military machine for hurling missiles, such as large stones or spears,
used in ancient and medieval times
Ballista - ancient and medieval engine of warfare used to hurl heavy projectiles at
a target.
Mangonel - military engine used during the Middle Ages for hurling stones and other
missiles
Perrier - short mortar used formerly for throwing stone shot
Trébuchet - military engine used in the Middle Ages for throwing stones, etc. It
acted by means of a great weight fastened to the short arm of a lever,
which, being let fall, raised the end of the long arm with great velocity,
hurling stones with much force.
